- "The Market" Help
This page is where you can place your orders. If you're logged in to your account *and* the market is open, you will see quantity box an "Add to Cart" icon next to each item. If you just want one, click on the icon to add it to your cart. If you want more, you can either change the quantity and then click, or click the number of times you want.
Once you've finished shopping, click the checkout link in your shopping cart (located at the upper left side of this page, below this help area).
HOW IT WORKS :
1) CREATE AN ACCOUNT: Enter your contact info & pick-up location (currently only one option). Here is a map of the current pick-up location: Slow Farm, at 4700 Whitmore Lake Rd., Ann Arbor, MI. This is a no-contact pickup – we will place items in your trunk. :)
2) ORDER: Select “The Market” and begin placing items in your cart. When finished, select “proceed to check out.” There you can verify the quantity of items ordered, leave notes for your growers, choose your pick up location, and pay. You’ll receive a receipt by email. Cards will be run the afternoon/evening of the Saturday pickup.
3) PICK UP & ENJOY!
Slow Farm (no-contact pickup): 4700 Whitmore Lake Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105
Pick up (and farmstand): 9am-12pm Saturdays
Final Notes:
- If we cannot fulfill an item it will be refunded.
- We cannot accommodate late pickups.
- Missed pickups will be donated or returned to vendors.

This is the first of the year 2021 new honey! It’s usually the lightest in color.
Spring raw honey is a lighter, milder flavored honey. It's harvested in the late spring so therefore has many of the earliest pollen from clover and early blooming trees.
We have ~50 bee hives on 4 different bee yards. Raw honey is straight from the source. It has not been altered in any way. It maintains all the good stuff: pollen, propolis, enzymes, vitamins, 18 different amino acids, protein, and rich in minerals and nutrients.

PropolisGrower: Rustic Roots Farm

Propolis is a by-product in the beehives. It is the bees natural antispetic, antibacterial glue to fix holes in the hive. It is used as a sealant for unwanted open spaces in the hive. Propolis is raw and straight from the hive. It is processed through a propolis trap and scraped from the supers where it remains largely clean of other bee parts and honey.
Propolis is commonly used medicinally for healing wounds, treatment for burns, infections, dental pain, inflammatory illnesses, and other skin ailments. Propolis is used in the production of creams, chewing gum, lozenges, cosmetics, and dental ointments.
